Lewisville, incorporated in 1991 is one of the fastest growing communities in Forsyth County. Lewisville has a small town ambiance, with much attention and planning going into preserving the community’s pedestrian friendly environment.

Lewisville is home to Westbend Vineyards. The 60 acres of vineyards are neatly tucked into the gently rolling countryside in the northwest corner of Forsyth County, where the Yadkin Valley begins. The first Westbend wines were released in 1990. Yappa Valley, North Carolina's entry into the world-class wine market, is just a few miles to the west.
